Similar to BCM, you can centrally manage various data on your customers and deals that you have made with them. Unlike BCM, OCM is really easy to set up and can be accessed from anywhere as the data is being stored in Exchange Online. When you are not ready to give up on BCM just yet, you can set a Registry key value to prevent your Office 365 installation from being upgraded to Office 2016 so you won’t run into any issues. However, they did release a successor called Outlook Customer Manager (or OCM for short) which is a completely new product with many of the features of BCM.

Outlook Customer Manager will be retired from June 30, 2020.

Microsoft Invoicing will be retired from February 8, 2020.

Now, Microsoft is killing Microsoft Invoicing and Outlook Customer Manager services as well. Last year, Microsoft discontinued some of the services that were announced. The new services were targeted towards small-to-medium sized customers and they were part of Microsoft 365 Business offering as well. Back in 2017, Microsoft unveiled several new services for Office 365 Business Premium users.
